There are many reasons why you should shred documents.
The most
important ones involve respecting the trust your customers and
employees have in you, compliance with the law, security and
concern for our environment. |
 |
|
 |
As a business, you are entrusted with extremely confidential
information. Because of the rise in Identify Theft and your
customers’ and employees’ right to privacy, shredding is
critical. If you want to keep their trust, place your trust in
Maverick Shredding. |

 |
Many federal laws, including HIPAA, Gramm-Leach-Bliley and FACTA
Disposal Rule, require the destruction of all consumer and
employee information before it is discarded. Companies that
violate this law face severe penalties. These penalties include
civil liability and class action suits as well as federal and
state enforcement. |
